The RPO inflection is unlike anything in Oracle's history. The $638 billion remaining performance obligation — compared to approximately $138 billion implied from FY2025 levels before this acceleration — represents decades-long, contractually committed cloud and infrastructure revenue.^1,2 Management disclosed that $67 billion in AI infrastructure contracts were signed in Q4 alone, the majority of which were either bring-your-own-hardware (BYOH) or fully prepaid. This brings the cumulative BYOH and prepaid pool to $75 billion. Importantly, management noted these contract types carry margins equivalent to or better than standard contracts, directly rebutting a core concern about margin dilution from hyperscale AI customers.¹

OCI data center delivery pace is accelerating into FY2027. Oracle delivered more than 1.2 gigawatts of data center capacity to customers across FY2026. Q1 FY2027 delivery is described as approaching 1 gigawatt — nearly equivalent to the entire prior four quarters combined. Five named major sites (Abilene TX, Shackleford TX, Doña Ana County NM, Saline County MI, Port Washington WI) were profiled in detail, with multiple sites ahead of schedule. Global GPU utilization sits at 97.5%, and among 59 customers whose GPU contracts came up for renewal in Q4, 49% renewed for 92% of the original GPU allocation — with the non-renewed capacity sold to other customers in the same quarter.¹

Agentic pricing is now a live commercial product. Oracle introduced a new AI pricing model this quarter that includes outcome-based contracting (e.g., per-candidate-screened for recruiting agents, per-upsell-transaction for hospitality agents) and token bundles purchasable across Oracle's application suites. A limited Q4 rollout reached 33 customers including Aon Services Corporation and Liberty Energy. This is not a revenue event yet — Q4 saw only a pilot — but it marks a structural shift in how Oracle monetizes the 1,000+ AI agents now embedded across its Fusion application suite.¹

A new CFO arrived 13 business days before the earnings call. Hillary Maxson joined as CFO two weeks prior to the Q4 report, succeeding Safra Catz in the finance leadership role. Despite arriving mid-quarter, Maxson immediately confirmed the long-term analyst day targets — 31% revenue CAGR and 28% EPS CAGR through FY2030 — while introducing a new ROIC framework for evaluating infrastructure investments: high-20s% ROIC at project steady state, calculated as after-tax operating margin plus depreciation divided by gross invested capital.¹
